A guide to finding freely accessible resources and scholarly research
Many open access resources are listed in our catalogue. See detailed instructions on how to find them below:
Search for the term "open access" in the catalogue to get a quick-access list of open access resources.
Click to open and search for open access material in any of the recommended resources, or select the See all link to view additional resources with open access content.
Search for articles in the catalogue, then select the Open Access filter...
When you search for articles in the Library catalogue (1), articles that are freely available under an open access license are identified by the OPEN ACCESS icon (2) indicating that the content can be read online, and in many cases freely downloaded as well, without needing to login as a Library member.
You can also apply the Open access journals filter (3) so all the articles included in the results list will be available in open access publications.
Images in the Library's Digital Image Pool are outside of copyright and can be freely reused with attribution. Browse by keyword to find amazing collection items and reuse, reimagine or remix as you wish!
