Parliamentary papers are not available online as a complete series. Some papers and indexes are available online - see below for details.

Annual reports

More and more government departments and instrumentalities are placing their annual reports online. Links to most Commonwealth government departments and instrumentalities can be found online. From the relevant website there is usually a link to publications and, from there, to annual reports.

Parliamentary committees’ reports

Full text reports may be available from a parliamentary committee's website, but coverage varies. A list of parliamentary committees and links to their websites can be found online.

Tabled papers register (1996 to date)
Fully searchable index (by name, keyword, date, chamber source). Supersedes the Index to parliamentary papers listed below.
Index to parliamentary papers (1992 to February 2010)
Links to a searchable index (archived). Supposed to provide links to PDFs of papers presented to the 38th, 39th, 40th, 41st and 42nd Parliaments (1996 to 2008-), but not sure if it does anymore?- superseded by Tabled papers register.
Index to papers presented to Parliament (1996-2016)
PDF indexes covering parliamentary papers presented to the 38th, 39th and 40th Parliaments.
Register of committee reports (1901 to 2014)
Complete list of all House of Representative and Joint Committee Reports.
The list of reports can be browsed by Parliament, committee name or subject.
Where an electronic version of a report is available a link to the report is provided.
Register of Senate committee reports (1970 to date)
Entries are listed by committee name, subject matter and year of tabling. Includes citations for reports on senators' interests.
Open Australia
The Register of Interests of each Senator or Representative can be found at the bottom of their profile page on OpenAustralia. These registers list private and public companies, trust funds, real estate, and partnerships which the member has an involvement in, liabilities, savings, substantial assets, major sources of income, gifts, and sponsored travel or hospitality.

The Parliamentary paper series website includes chronological lists for 2002 to date.

You can use the Index to parliamentary papers (1992 to Feb 2010) to generate chronological lists (enter year desired, keep all other search boxes blank, sort results by date tabled)

It is possible to retrieve archived copies of lists for 1993-1998. The following URLs no longer work if you try to access them directly, but you can access them by entering them into the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine:
