Explore the free assistive technology available at State Library Victoria.
Dragon is a 'word to text' speech recognition software. Words and commands can be dictated (spoken) to Dragon, allowing you to use the computer by speaking. Dragon requires headphones. There is a headset available with a microphone.
Basic keyboard commands are available as downloadable documents throughout this guide. Keyboard commands are also available as print outs at each assistive technology zone in the Library (in large font, on yellow A3 paper).
