Find documents, photographs and objects in the Coles Myer archive at State Library Victoria. Coles and Myer are two of Australia’s most iconic retailing brands.
Once you identify items and corresponding box numbers of interest in the Records of Coles Myer finding aids, please contact the Ask A Librarian service to arrange access.
Items in the Records of Coles Myer archive are stored offsite. Orders close at 4pm each day and items are available after two business (week) days. There are no retrievals on weekends, but items delivered prior can be viewed during the weekend.
Items are delivered to the Heritage Collections Reading Room on Level 2A of the Library. Staff taking your order will book a space for you in that room.
As we have limited space to store items being viewed at the Library, we may place limits on the number of items we will deliver for viewing at the one time.
Staff will need to check if fragile objects such as clothing and glassware, and large format items can be made available to view. Viewing times for these items are by appointment.
