ASX: Australian Securities Exchange
Comprehensive information for free on all companies listed on the ASX, including share price charts, financial data and company announcements. It also offers information on recent and upcoming floats, share market indices and statistics.
deListed Australia
Access historical and current information about companies delisted from the ASX, and those under external administration, in liquidation, or in receivership.
Yahoo! Finance – Australia & New Zealand
Access listed company profiles, current financial news articles free of charge, can also see current share price of stocks; many other options are offered including some free ones which also require enquirer to sign-up.

Morningstar DatAnalysis Premium
Provides comprehensive data for all ASX listed and delisted companies from 1989. These reports are updated daily from relevant ASX announcements. It includes corporate details, index participation, history, structure, operations and 10 years of financial data. It allows searching across all sections of its database to provide a list of companies that match selected criteria. It is also an excellent source for older prospectuses. (Available within the Library, and offsite to registered users who are Victorian residents).

IBISWorld Australia Company Profiles
Search across a collection of company profiles analysing the 2000 largest Australian and New Zealand companies. Each report features key personnel, financials and other relevant data including an analysis of the competitive environment.

A real-time, 24-hours-a-day business news and commentary website based in Australia. It provides information for people in business, finance, government, the professions, as well as investors. Originally established in 2007 by Alan Kohler, Stephen Bartholomuesz and Robert Gottliebsen, it is is published by Australian Independent Business Media (AIBM) Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of News Ltd. Since 2014 a paywall was established and requires subscription to access market intelligence; other general articles are available via its connection to The Australian newspaper.
