This publication provides the corporate family trees of parent companies registered in Australasia, Asia, Middle East and Africa, as well as an alphabetical index of all subsidiaries located in these areas linked to the ultimate parent. The entire set of Who Owns Whom shows linkage details on more than 7.5 million companies world-wide, of which approximately 65,000 of these are Australian.
The Business who’s who products and tradenames guide
Published by Dun & Bradstreet, this is a purchasing and supply directory. It provides a quick way of identifying suppliers of products and services, or linking tradenames to suppliers and products.
The State Library of Victoria has an excellent collection of industry-specific directories, yearbooks and handbooks. They frequently contain information about companies that is not available anywhere else. Search the State Library's online catalogue by combining the name of an industry with the terms 'handbook, yearbook or directory' (and their plurals), in order to identify publications in a specific industry. Examples include the Register of Australian mining and the Australian automotive intelligence yearbook.
In line with the stage 3 restrictions announced by the Premier, State Library Victoria closed on Thursday 9 July.
