The Budget represents the financial plan developed by the Government for the financial year. The Budget Papers set out the Government’s plans for the Tasmanian Government and agencies of government.
For recent budgets the budget papers include: the Treasurer’s Budget Speech, The Budget (Budget Paper Number 1), Government Services Budget Papers (Budget Paper Number 2), and related legislation. Current budget papers available on the Tasmanian Department of Treasury and Finance website.
If looking for budget papers from before 1995/96 use Journals and printed papers of the Parliament of Tasmania, prior to 1884 use the Journals of the House of Assembly.

Published in Journals and printed papers of the Parliament of Tasmania, as the Budget Speech and Financial Statement of the Treasurer, and since 1983 it has simply been called the Budget Speech. Estimates documents and budget papers were included in the Parliamentary Papers until 1997.
