Finding a known author or title

This guide helps you find science fiction books for children and young adults and includes eresources, journals, books and children's book awards. Keywords used to find fiction in our catalogue vary and this means that you will need to use a number of search strategies and resources to find fiction books in the theme of fantasy, depending on how much information you have to start with

To find a known title or author navigate to the Library catalogue and enter your terms in the large search box

To explore the breadth of the Library's holdings in this genre, enter any of the following 'science fiction', 'sci-fi' or 'science-fiction' plus permutations of the descriptors child, children or children's

If you have the author or title, simply enter those details into the Search box on our catalogue
