This CD-ROM includes a range of profiles that provide statistics for different areas of Australia. Data can be displayed, printed and cross-referenced.

This data can be viewed by capital city or state/territory.

It is not possible to save data from this CD-ROM, although you can print data.

This website links to statistics about populations of suburbs of Melbourne, Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong. Statistics cover 1981 to 2006, enabling analysis of data over time. For each suburb, a wide range of variables are covered, including total population, age structure, income, household size, dwellings, labour force, industry of employment and birthplace.

This website links to statistics about populations of large towns (population greater than 500 persons), smaller towns, and rural balances (areas of municipalities outside town boundaries) in Victoria.
