Welcome

Victoria's water supply is in a situation of flux. Extended drought, climate change, floods and political complexities are factors in the supply of water but it is generally agreed that Victorians need to conserve water.

The Office of Water is the Victorian government's website detailing policies and programs relating to water.

Information on the federal government's policies, programs and initiatives can found on its Australia's Water website.

Use the tabs across the top of the page to find out more.

Most of the online services mentioned in this guide are available free of charge to registered users of the State Library of Victoria.
